About Us

Dinador Oy is a Finnish software consultancy founded in 2015. Our work spans research, design and implementation, and we bring deep experience in:

Among other engagements, Dinador has implemented the travel data collection service used by voluntary mobile application users of Helsinki Regional Transport (HRT, in Finnish HSL). The same context-aware platform also powers HRT's digital customer surveys.

We have been engaged by multiple English firms of solicitors to give expert evidence in confidential arbitration proceedings concerning 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.

The products shown below are technology demonstrations — built to illustrate some aspects of what our expertise can deliver.

Tech Demonstrations

A location-aware progressive web app that lists taxi service providers across Finland and compares their prices — both for generic reference trips and for journeys the user has entered. Pricing covers fixed offers, airport specials and national-holiday tariffs, alongside ordinary fares. For each provider the app links to home pages, phone numbers, preorder forms and provider-specific mobile application installation pages.

  • Progressive web app: installable on mobile and desktop, fully responsive, takes minimal space on the phone
  • Always up to date: updates automatically, so users always have the latest features and fixes
  • Offline support: limited offline functionality lets users browse data even when the connection drops
  • Nationwide coverage: location-aware, listing service providers from the whole country
  • Localized: available in Finnish and English — many Finnish taxi providers do not offer English information on their own sites

Whesuli

In development

Whesuli is a mobile application currently in development — a context-aware helper for users of public transport in the greater Helsinki region. It combines GPS location with scanning for Helsinki Regional Transport (HRT, in Finnish HSL) BLE beacons to detect nearby stops or the vehicle the user is currently in, and surfaces relevant information about them. Route plans can be generated either from the user's current vehicle, or while excluding one or more disrupted routes.
