About Whesuli

Whesuli is a mobile application currently in development — a context-aware helper for users of public transport in the greater Helsinki region. It combines GPS location with scanning for Helsinki Regional Transport (HRT, in Finnish HSL) BLE beacons to detect nearby stops or the vehicle the user is currently in, and surfaces relevant information about them. Route plans can be generated either from the user's current vehicle, or while excluding one or more disrupted routes.

Whesuli is a technology demonstration by Dinador Oy, illustrating context-aware mobile services built on top of public transport data and short-range beacons.
